The Free Slope Soarer Plans Thread

Ok after looking around this great encyclopedia we call the RCGroups slope forum I have decided that we need a thread that ties together all the free slope soarer plans that are available here.

I would like this thread to be an index of sorts for people looking to build a new ship to have a peek at and see what great planes are available and an open discussion on each of the plan listed.

When adding a thread link, follow the format,
Plan:
Designer:
Flying Style:
Link:
Build Thread: (If applicable)

finally a pic of a completed plane added as an attachment not a link, so it will be below 100k and always stay with the thread.

This thread wont be made sticky, so the only way to keep it current is to add new plans and discuss the ones already on here, so does anybody have any info on the flying ability of the plans shown?

No worries that the thread won't be stickied, honestly how many people are really scratchbuilding from plans anymore? I'm sure it's plenty of people but as a percentage of the total slope populace--probably not big. We can just bookmark this thread and point people to it when they inquire; works for me

The MiSS (Micro Slope Stik) flies quite nicely, though obviously with a kinked psuedo Jedelsky-style "airfoil" (I use that term loosely) and all the gear sticking out in the wind, penetration could be much, much better. Roll rate is not bad, but inverted flight is pretty much impossible. But it's a very, very nimbe little plane--I would routinely fly this pattern around the streamer on our wind stick, coming from behind and ducking under the streamer, then doing a little pull up and floating over the top, only to duck under it again. A lot of hover-type stuff. Also flies nicely close to the ground, can be woven in between bushes and whatnot with great aplomb. A very fun little plane, easy to build, inexpensive, and fast to build. If you've got some submicro gear on hand, I think it's worth a shot.

Steve

Speak for yourself! I mean really speak OF yourself, Mr. Rodent.
I would rather not by a kit. I'd rather build a one-off(or two or three-off)!
You are probably right, though. The plans builder/scratch designer-builder is the minority(must be why I like it ).
