The two classes are completely separate:

http://rg65.org/news/future-directio...int-statement/

The 65 class has no influence on the RG65 rules and vice versa.

Cheers,

"65 Class" is not the same as "RG65 class". Above question was about RG65, look at www.rg65.org

Today ive had a lesson on dealing with organisations and airlines. Realising the unrecoverable cost from being unable to fly to the US, due to last weeks weather.

ESTA Application £62 ($88)
Unused parking fee £31.49
Airplane unused seat allocation £16.50
Transfer Currency £450 / $600. Sell back $600, only receive £380. (Therefore, its a £70 loss).

The total unrecoverable personal cost comes to £179.99. Plus approximately, 3 hours of phone calls, using premium tariff phone numbers, from companies that like to give their customers the 'Run Around'.

That is a pretty high currency cost!

I have been advised to just pay everything by credit card when travelling, & get the better rate from the card company.

careful, some of your post includes some of the stuff IRSA is currently pushing, per Earl's previous post.

"Earl Boebert: Just a clarification: the IRSA certificate is for their "65 Class" which is wholly separate from the RG65s. Joint statement here:

http://rg65.org/news/future-directio...int-statement/

They do their thing, we do ours.
