How many turns?for 12 pole,25mm motor

I'm building a 25mm 12 pole motor using 2.5 25mm 12 pole stators and stock cans with a fluxring extension coming from another donor can, and 14 mags of 5x5x1mm mags. This is a homemade attempt at a build of a 25mm 12 pole motor using stock parts,no machining necessary ,only tools needed are a drill press, dremel with cutoff wheel and a soldering iron.Could somebody tell me how many turns should i do for a 2 cel 3d motor using an 8x4,or 9x5 HDprop,I,m looking for maximum thrust at 7.5 to 8 amps. Also I would like to know how many turns for a 3 cel setup using the same prop and aiming for the same amp draw. Thanks sentella

You may have to fill in a few more details like stator thickness, and wether you are going to wind all the poles or 6, as far as guage of wire ive found for single strand .5mm is a good choice for 2sp, i might add i have never built an lrk but it seems fesable that if you look at a good gb wind like 18turns per pole, and that in a gb there is 3 poles per phase wich would give 54 winds in total per phase ,then you can divide the number of poles you want to use into that 54 and come away with a wind per pole figure as a starting point to try. imho. im sure there are others who could inform us both with more experience with lrks cheers.

The stator thickness is 4.32 mm,i have 22,26,and 30 gauge wire at hand right now.As far as how many poles ,what would you recommend. Its my first 12 pole motor.I want to turn a GWS 8x4hd with a 2 cell for 3d at or around 8 amps and a 3 cel configuration using the same 8x4 prop at around 8 amps too.It could be a 9x5 prop but i would rather have the 8x4,its lighter. So far it weights 25 grams with prop saver and magnets installed,no wire.

id' wait and get thicker wire imho, 5x4 mags perhaps btw landru has posted some figures on a distributed wind,3sp unfortunatly but it would still give you an idea.
