I've got the 56" Rich Uravitch, built from a kit. It was also available as an ARF for a time.
I also have the WMPF Bronco and it was my favorite plane for a time, but the temperatures here tend to make EPP very flexy and spongy and the plane warps badly. When I was flying it it was ridiculously fun. |

CN flew one of two Dan Palmer plans 96 inch OV-10's at the St. George Electric Fly In, last year and they flew very nice. With flaps, they slow right down for landing. The bigger ones seem to fly with more purpose and stability.

You are 10 years too late.
KMP and ESM had a 97" OV-10 that flew great. However it was a sales flop. https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...o-E-Conversion Rob |

An Advanced search for Bronco in thread titles within the Aircraft - Electric - Airplanes group forums came back with 98 threads.
So who knows, there may already be something. (If someone wants to dig through them all ). Ray. Addition - here's the search link I used , it may or not work -- https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/sear...4&query=Bronco |

Oh this isn't a pity party. I don't balsa/wood build except a few large scale hydroplanes for racing. Time is money and I have very little time to do much of anything these days. Maybe when I retire I'll take on a build. Hopefully by then, there will be a large foam OV-10 so I don't have to!

Many years ago (2002 I think) I built one of Rich's 52" kits but with a rib bay added each panel. Twin endoplasma brushed motors geared with 10 nimh cells ea (3000mah, so each side had 24 ounces of battery and 6 ounces of motor. These days that would be 2.5 ounces motor and 8 ounces battery I hand selected a lot of the sheet wood and it was lightly built, with spring air retracts added. BEAUTIFUL flying airplane. They fly like they have a lot more wing than they actually do. I used the CDF scheme as you show matt, I agree,.. great flying airplane and there should be a large model available again. I disagree, however, in foam. So expensive to do something in foam due to mold costs. Also, wood and covering can look the same a year from now after flying it every weekend.
