Cool, looks like fun! And unbelievably inexpensive. Cost me more than that to fill up the gas tank in my truck.

banggood.com has it up to order.

This does raise the bar of features and performance, if delivered, at this price point.

$0 because it doesn't use one. all the pics show people using their phones to control it.

I wouldn't rule it out, but believe this is going to be app based, close in only drone...what you see is what you get. Go to a Spark if you want the next tier up.

The video shows a controller and the description mentions it.
My main reason for liking DJI's offerings in these classes of devices is precisely that they always offer a remote even when optional, while with others it's really phone only and nothing else, and phone control sucks badly.

I thought I seen "game controller" so figured that it was something kids would already have, not something they would market. Given 300 Ft range on spec, would seem controller is bluetooth, flight/downlink WiFi.

Congrats Mad on being the "Official" product launcher!
Looks like a fun toy for sure.
12 min flight time probably means 8 in the real world which is decent.
VPS but no GPS, Compass?
There was some 3rd party BT game controller compatibility stuff recently, more kid focused I think, we'll see.
The controller would allow the phone to be used as the VR goggle, sweet.

Yea it will support some 3rd party controllers just like the Spark via the phone, itís not likely to have its own dedicated one just MFI ect.

Itís a really interesting product, an interesting partnership with DJI and Ryze, DJI Technology with the flight controller and manufacture with overall design and R&D done by Ryze.

£99/$99 is a mad price too, this is not a Spark or ever designed to be but itís something Iím absolutely going to get for my ďkidsĒ 😉 and they can learn on the development stuff.

Itís been an interesting week with the Osmo Mobile 2, that Ronin -S is awesome and itís not even really kicked off yet.
