old time kits and plans

Im looking for easy electric parkflyer kits or plans that fly easy. I would like them to build relatively fast so I can just pull out some balsa and rebuild or repair after a crash. Maybe a stick built fuse. would help? any suggestions? THANKS

Single-task at best...

Just a thought; I'm not being dimissive but if you want a quick build then you might want to explore the Foamies forum.

Building from balsa tends to be quite a labour-intensive process.......

Some Ben Buckle old timers look simpler than others, i.e. Diamond Deamon. For quick build you can get some of Tom Hunt's electric conversion old timer plans with laser cut pieces from bhplans.com.

Look through the Model Aviation magazine plans list. They have several 1/2A versions of old timers such as the Brigadier, Kloud King, Miss America and others that would be perfect on a geared 400 or even a 380GWS set up.
