Review of Hubsan H122D X4 STORM - Micro Racing Drone Quadcopter With 720P Camera - 5.8G FPV and Goggles & DVR flight footage

My new brushed quad from Hubsan, advertised as Micro Racing Drone, just came. Its Hubsan H122D X4 with catchy callsign STORM.

It came in the compact box although my version comes with box style goggles. Never the less, the box was so small that it passed DHL customs process without any expenses. It was delivered to my door in very short time (5 days).

Image latency

So I'm thinking about picking up one of these in the next few days and was wondering if you could comment on the latency between the H122D and the googles. I've heard that there is a drastic lag, what are your thoughts?

Here is the test of Hubsan H122D FPV system (first part of the video is latency test, the second part of video is test against blue screen):

Lag is OK for brushed quad I believe, but there's blue screen which is not so great for FPV system, but as this is small brushed park &indoor flyer its possible to live with it...

H122D built-in DVR records fine 16:9 720p footage, too bad FPV camera doesn't have WDR and struggles with difficult light conditions.
Maybe on a sunny day or indoor, it will be better... stay tuned...

Usb lipo charge

USB lipo charger

I have an issue with USB lipo charger provided in the kit with hubsan h112d.
Its balancing circuits are poorly designed or USB charger is faulty one:

one cell is undercharged (4.1v) and the other one is overcharged (4.3v)

Very nice test,
-Did you test the range of transmitters? Therefore, such a station uses the announced model H501M.
-In the case of the battery, the description states that Hi voltage Lipo (as in DJI and Co.), 7.6v, then normally charged each cell should have 4.35V, so the battery should be 8.6-8.7v.

-No, I did not test the range.
I just tested the failsafe, and its implemented OK, when the transmitter is turned off, quad automatically disarms and buzzer starts beeping which is perfect behavior.

-Regarding battery, Lipo or LiHV, that doesn't justify that one cell is at 4,1 V and another one is at 4,3V, that was my point.
And also, provided charger charges battery to standard lipo level of 2*4,2V which is 8,4V as seen in my pictures.
