It would try out large size high pitch prop also, but you will need low KV motor. Years ago we built a glider for mapping (3,4m wingspan, 4kg TOW, max 4h flight time). To get it to fly more efficiently we used very large prop with high pitch together with the lowest KV motor we could find. The logic being, that slower rotating props (prop tips) generate less drag.
If I remember correctly the best results came with 23X12 prop (I might get it wrong - I would have to look at the actual plane to be sure).

Folks hi.
I have a Turnigy G46-670 Kv and a Turnigy Plush 60A ESC was going to use them on another project but the question I have for you all is would these be a good motor for the Believer. I'm not as advanced as the majority of you guys and I'm finding it hard to find a suitable motor spec for this build

Do you think the G46-670 Kv motors would be a good motor choice and would you recommend a prop size, please? Jonny

Sigh. The number of cells (3s, 4s, or 6s) is the import data we need.

Has anyone had a chance to test the 4012's? If so, how did you get them to fit in the nacelle and mount to the wing?

Jonny,
If you look at the website from HobbyKing https://hobbyking.com/de_de/turnigy-...v-46-glow.html you can see that the motor needs 4-5 cells. Your little battery does not work. You should buy a 5s with min. 6000mAh battery for your motors.

Jonny,
I don't have the Believer, but I think the Turnigy G46-670 Kv is a little big and heavy with 303g.
If you are a beginner, I would recommend that you start with something smaller, like the Bixler 3 from HobbyKing.
