Together

Glue part A to part B.

One of the bits that scares me as you kings need to get it right. After a lot of thinking and emm and arrrrr I made a 62mm spacer and propped up the end. Test fitted the outer with the inner and it was just right. So mixed aim aryldite and squish. Now wait.

Spoilers

Both wings 95% done.

Just need the shear webs in the second wing. Both wings have spoilers. Slightly diffrent to how was on plan but thatís building. Maybe it was my cheeky servos but the arms hit the sheeting. Another reason to dry test everything before glueing

Quick look

The wing sat on the finished Fuse.

Still have to sand the back of the canopy to accept the wing. Maybe wait until the wing is covered to do that. . .

I managed to get both wings to the mm the same height from the bench /win.

Wow Steve the build is looking fantastic! That's a rewarding moment there lol.

Did you build the kit to the 100" or 110" span?

Pete.

Wing one

Well. Been a little while. The whole build went like a rocket untill I had to sand the wings. Then I got another build on the board to save me sanding.

Anyhow. I bit the bullet and sanded and covered one Wing. I know I should have sanded both wings then compared but thanks me. Impatient.

Iím loving the yellow.

Electrics. Battery ( 3s 1300mha) and enough lead to poison a donkey /grin.

Balanced.

Throws set to almost full and 30% expo ( for take off and trim ) and heaps less in the hope that small movements are whatís required.

Balanced a few mm forward of the spa ( as marked on plan ) with the hope to move 10mm back later.

Brakes set to shut. 1/4 and full open on three position switch ( maybe on throttle later )

So. Ready for Maiden
