Can't Publish Site with DSL Connection

I just switched from dial-up to DSL. When trying to publish my site, I get an error message, "500 ST Not Understood" and then it bails. The ftp connection appears to work OK, but the site won't publish. When I go back to dial-up, it publishes just fine.

Anybody know what's wrong?

Now I'm getting a different error message when I click on "Publish Site" in FrontPage: "425 Unable to build data connection: Connection refused".

Anybody know what this is and how to fix it? Has something to do with my switching from dial-up to DSL.

I doubt that the problem is with the DSL. I've been getting the 500 errors for quite a while now. On the other hand I haven't been able to connect or receive data. If you are connected to the DSL with a router try disconecting it and connecting your computer directly to the dsl modem. Try to re-publish. You might still have trouble though. At least I do. Been stuck for weeks now.

Thanks -- I'll try that and will also contact BellSouth's DSL gurus when I get a chance.
