HobbyKing Cessna Skylane EPO PNF

The new SKylane from H-King looks great and performs well with a 3s-powered 1200KV motor.

KE Spins make me dizzy.
Looks like it's aimed squarely at people who want something a little bigger than the UMX line.

This is the size that I like. Big enough to handle some wind, not so big that it takes up space, etc. And it also uses "standard" parts, not bricks. But I didn't have much luck with my last one in this size, the PZ Archer. My skill level was not up to the plane's control needs. Still one of my favoritist planes, despite difficulties that I had with it.

Great time to be in the hobby.

Happy Holidays

The Dynam Scout is another Cessna 182 that's just slightly bigger than this one.

This one actually looks like they managed to get the rake on the landing gear right, which most Cessna 182 models don't.

You can get it for under $100 with 2 batteries right now, which is a hell of a deal. Looks like a great flying little plane.

I want to get this nice Cessna but use
Bigger 2 blade prop like 8x4, 8.5x4 to get better thrust, performance . Of course, not looking that good as 3 blade. :-). But I don't mind.

Wonder what size is motor shaft? 3mm or 3.2mm ?

Make sure you have the ground clearance for a bigger 2 bladed prop.

Back when stock car racing first started they actually used stock cars. When they got used to them they then souped them up..

I think he's noting the video in the article. It was shot on a windy day.

Rebadged TopRC cessna 182 with triblade prop, that has been around for quite a few years now. Looks great anyway.
