Signed up for F5J!
Not sure yet about Friday, but if family and vacation time allows, may also fly ALES on Friday!

Very glad to see ESL entering the F5J era
We will soon have several ESL based F5J events.

Itís still a long way out, but I plan to be there.

I flew at Daniel Boone for the first time last year, great field!

Thanks Kerry. The Daniel Boone field is one of my favorite places to fly also. You can range way way out on the east side over the valley. Landing can be a challenge up or down the hill but that's fun too. The ESL does contest right. If you want to attend a pro event this is the place to start. Camping is also nice and cool at nights, no bugs, quiet and with flat areas for tents and campers.
See you there Brady

The ESL web page,
Is super easy to use. Each event is tied to google maps. Click the arrow at the right side(end) of the event listing.
The sign up page has a real time pilots list.
Nice to see who is coming or not attending (yet)..

I’m taking a break from my repair projects to look at the upcoming contests and noticed someone has offered cash prizes for this one. Pretty cool !

well...a 40 oz plane that launches low and lands early won't beat a heavier plane launched high that flies 10 minutes.

just saying...

While there are some pretty serious competitors everyone is welcome. the main objective is to enjoy yourself and learn something. If the wind picks up a bit a few guys will be wishing they had your 3 meter Pike.
