Welcome to the new thread dedicated entirely to an open discussion about the new REVOLECTRIX PowerLab Touch Series Battery Workstations. Available in 4 different models, the new Touch Series combine the Safety, Reliability, and Industry-leading Power Output of the long-standing legacy PowerLab series Battery Workstations with REVOLECTRIX BUMP Technology, the exciting new technology developed to simplify and automate any and all important functions of Battery Management. Specifications and Pricing are subject to change, so we have decided not to include them in this initial post. This product line entered into beta testing in March, 2017 and was considered production-ready by November, 2017. I got the app and a dual powerlab6 touch. When i scan for the charger with the app it does not find anything.charger is powered, Bluetooth is on, on the phone. I checked all settings on the charger nothing relating to bluetooth.
My phone specs are
WLAN=Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot
Bluetooth=4.1, A2DP, LE

Is 4.1 not backwards compatible with 4.0 maybe?

Anything 4.x should work fine.
Make sure Location is enabled and Location permission is enabled in Settings for the CCS app - it should prompt you to enable if it isnt, but you never know if that works 100% across all the different Android devices.

Well it was location needed to be on, but privacy and transparency are not working now.

Issue/ bug : playing music in background while I opened the Rev app today. Everything is fine after the app opens and while its searching for device ,but clicking anything that can be clicked stops the music player. No app errors or anything major, just annoying i have to restart the music player after i choose the graph i want to look at for awhile.

The app itself does NOT use location for anything.

Android requires that Location be enabled in order to scan and find bluetooth devices - this is because the app, combined with some nearby bluetooth device (with a known location), could be used to accurately derive your location ... therefore scanning for bluetooth devices requires the user to consent to their location being discoverable. You'll find this to be true for any app that needs to scan for bluetooth low energy devices.

Thanks, I'll add it to our buglist.
What happens if you go into app settings and set the click sound to "None" ? That should provide a work-around since disabling will prevent any media from being played that would interrupt your music.

Yes disabled sound"click1"worked, music keeps playing.
