Versatile Flying Wing

You might be familiar with the Teksumo EPP wings, but H-King as has made a few changes to the 900mm wing that makes it a versatile wing at a great price of just $49.36. They've included an FPV camera mount so you can attach a cam/tx combo for easy fun FPV flying. It now includes a carbon fiber motor mount which is more durable than before to handle rough landings. The pushrods are 3mm hardened steel for better control with less flex.

The Teksumo comes as a kit that's easy to build with just a few glue joints. You can get it in 4 different color schemes and all up the model weighs in around 300-350g. You'll need to supply your own power system, servos, and radio system to get it ready for flight.

twice the price of the old one now

The older revision is now 22 (euro?) compared to the price of the new ones.
Doubt the changes are worth twice the price so ordered 3 of the old kits as backup.

Is the material any different? The old teks had a poor quality foam, especially when compared to the VAS products.

I glued the halves together and plan to laminate mine. I like the CF motor mount. Do you guys know if you can really fly them with the recommended battery set up.

I have a pop wing sport that is about the same size and was really disappointed with the recommended set up compared to what I ended up with to get it to balance and fly. I had to move the battery forward and go a lot larger. I love how it flys now but I would like to set up this new tech sumo for my son and would benefit from a light build as he still has a lot of impactful landings.

I just ordered one of these. I am only starting with a 3s setup on a 5-4.5 prop until i get a bigger esc.

Is hot glue good enough to put this together?
