32" YAK 55 with full fuse - replace your profile foamy

How do you feel about profile indoor foamies? Well, I love to fly them as well.

It's easy to build, repair and provides you an opportunity to learn 3D maneuvers fast.

Our YAK55 provides you all these benefits along with another feature - full round fuze.

It changes the way the plane flights. You will get rid of the extensive knife edge stability that all the profile foamies have to make your plane feel like an indoor trainer of a large aerobatics machine.

Now, the best part.

The plane designed to fit your regular electronics from a profile foamy, so no extra investments.

Technical data:
Lenth - 800mm
Wingspan - 800mm (~ 32')
Frame weight ~ 65g or less
Flying weight ~ 130-150g

It can run on the Turnigy/AXI 2204 20g outrunner, requires two 5g servos and one 9g for ailerons and the 350-500mAh 2s lipo.

Comming soon.

The weather is not very nice these days and I prefer to fly outside.

Let's move on.

Now, the canopy.

I recorded a simple video building it.
Yak 55 Canopy build video (7 min 8 sec)

As I used the contact glue, I left the canopy in this position for 24 hours. After, carefully removed the tape.

It's almost like depron but used mostly for the building needs.
I'm testing the KIT using this foam and after wish to build the same from the EPP.

So far I love how it feels and flies, but requires a calm weather, zero wind is perfect...

I was curious because I know Depron supplies are starting to run out.

In our area we have no depron suppliers at all. So have to look for alternatives
