I read a review on the HK site the standard ESC and motor are compatible with 3 cells, can anyone verify this ?

Seems to indeed be true.. Several of my reviewers reported running theirs on 3S..

This bike was on my list, but I have missed the sale!

Which of the three bikes are recommended for a noob as a first bike. I have a TS4G radio.
I like the HKM-390 and the wheelies with brushless motor.

I dont want to race, I just need a bike to cruise around with kids!

My front forks are very springy is that right.or is there a way to adjust them

You have to watch the front end when its running. If the bike is jumping up and down, then yes it's too springy. I don't have one to run, but you should be able to stiffen it by putting in some heavy oil....maybe 40wt shock oil? Maybe others will chime in on that.
