Hacker Model is now offering up a scale rendition of the famous Super Decathlon with a 79.5" wingspan. Designed for electric power from a RimFire .80 50-55-500, this 60-sized balsa and ply ARF can be flown with a 5-6S LiPo with at least 4000mAh, and a 90-amp ESC. This semi-scale aerobatic plane is based on the well-known Bellanca Super Decathlon recreational aircraft and built from balsa and ply. Perfect for intermediate to advanced pilots and perfectly suited to glider towing, this isn't a plane you want to pass up! A NACA 2412 wing profile that's light and aerodynamic provides excellent lift and handling characteristics while the quality heat-shrink covering gives it a truly sublime look. Add in your choice of power system and take on the sky!

Yeah I noticed that too. I guess it's not absolutely terrible when you compare it to something like a TopFlite Cessna 182, being $110 cheaper, but it still seems like an enormous amount of money for a stand-off scale plane.

You can get a Carbon Z Cessna 150, with all the electronics, including the receiver, for $10.00 more. Sure, it's foam, but it flies so good. You'd have to throw probably another $250 (or a lot more with recommended electronics) at this one to have it flying if you don't already have the electronics, and I honestly just don't see the value in it.

If it were PNP at this price then hell yes, absolutely..
