Stick end thread pattern on Spektrum?

Hi guys,

I was wanting to order these longer stick-ends for my DX5e radio. The description says "DX6i, DX8" etc. Are they (hopefully) all the same thread pattern on the JR/Spektrum radios?

http://www.gravesrc.com/spektrum-gim...x9-dx18qq.html

Just want to make sure these would fit my DX5e.

Thanks!

All Spektrum radios from the last couple of years except the original DX18 and many DX18G2 have M3 threads. All those use Spektrum gimbals. The 2 DX18 models use JR gimbals which use M4 threads.

The DX4/DX4e/DX5e use different stick ends from the other Spektrum transmitters.

I have a DX4e, and I have confirmed it has M3 threads on its sticks.

It is the same thread as the DX6i for example but the stick ends are different - the DX4/4e/5e has short stubby studs coming out of the gimbal and (relatively) long stick ends threaded at the end only. The DX6i (and most other Spektrum transmitters) have long studs (sticks) coming out of the gimbal and the stick end is drilled all the way through and tapped for the most of its length.

The DX4/4e/5e stick ends are not adjustable - they screw all the way in while the rest are adjustable in length and held in place with a set screw.
