In this post you will find the model in process of the Douglas DC-3 of 21 "inches of wing span, at the moment we are working on adding the reinforcements of carbon fiber and landing gear. The model is in phase of testing and would be wonderful that you participate in the possible improvements that you would like to see in the final model.

Also to define the paint scheme to give a good finish with acrylic paint and a lacquer with krylon.

Looks good, but one thing is that the wings are meant to be swept backwards.

Will be watching!

Interesting model besides the easily corrected wing thing .
I 'm wondering as to what skin will needs be applied.
Raw foam has all the surface integrity / strength of Kleenex.

It looks very much like it's assembled with the wing the wrong way round in the third picture.

No wonder I saw that the airplane was looking a little weird. I kept looking at the airplane without being able to figure out why!JAJAJA GOSH:: Things like this happen when I want to apply inverse engineering to the plans and i ended up inverting the wings in the airplane jajaj. Thank goodness for everyone's input. Working on adjusting this right now.

So you list a 1S ESC and a 2S battery. Are you going to split the battery cells to power each ESC?

Hi. the idea is to use the least weight possible and with this battery of 7.3 volts 350 mah is enough to power these two engines that have a low power ... In the next video I will show you the performance of this configuration.

Ah so the two motors off the one ESC. Makes sense now! I have often wondered if that would be a viable solution for a twin.

Awesome. They look really nice. I always enjoy seeing everyone else's pictures of their own airplanes. I will keep posting the progress on the one I'm making.

Can you show us pictures or any other details about how you made it with the mill?
