Caddx Turbo micro SDR1 Super WDR FPV Camera

This is a really exciting camera from Caddx. Switchable to meet anyone's configuration desires. But what's more interesting is the sensor. I think it's the first FPV camera to use a Starvis sensor, some of which are very impressive at low light capturing and WDR.

I'm excited to see the reviews when they come out, this camera might be a new standard.

Yep, CMOS with rolling shutter based on the sensor.

I prefer no in-camera OSD, I like betaflight OSD, and almost all flight controllers support it now. Unfortunately for people in planes, miniquads seem to be driving the market these days

And yes, I'm pretty sure all starvis sensors are CMOS. Not a big deal, though, CMOS is better technology. The only reason CCDs were superior (in the FPV world) is because the hardware was older and more refined from security camera tech. Super Had is almost 20 years old now! The original HS1177's were obsolete security cameras. With companies actually developing CMOS tech, they're going to far surpass the best CCD cameras.

What's cool is that Caddx is a security camera manufacturer, who's just now jumping into the FPV game. They've got a really good understanding of how this stuff works.

The switching aspect ratio and switching format is something missing from most (all?) current micro cams. Nice that the one camera will work for anyone's favourite flavour.

I don't like that no black version is available, I don't want my quad to look like a jelly bean.
Will wait for the new micro Monster Foxeer is planning to release this month.

There seems to be some confusion on Caddx, which is CCD and CMOS:
here are their line-up. (RMRC has the CCD version).

Turbo S1 (CCD)
Turbo micro S1 (CCD)

Turbo micro F1 (CMOS)
Turbo SDR1 (CMOS)
Turbo micro SDR1 (CMOS)

Thanks for that clarification. I was wondering this exact same thing yesterday. I'm hoping to get one of these cameras soon. I'd think since this company was into surveillance cameras first that they'd have all the insight on what would make a great FPV camera. From the specs they look really good Definitely bringing specs not seen in other FPV cameras on the market. Hoping they get back to me soon so I can test them against voltage spikes on my test quad... Just not to keen on their color choices, should atleast offer black I'm case someone doesn't want those bright colors. Guess it could always be painted but that a PITA.

Camera's should always be bright colors.
Have you ever tried looking for a black colored CAM
at the flying field after a hard crash on your plane?
Ive lost many CAMS 5-6yrs ago bc all the CAM's back then were negro in color
much easier to find if fluorescent

The most color I would want is maybe a blue one like Foxeer did on the HS1177 V2. Only because it would match my color scheme I always build with, black, white and blue components and wiring. All my FPV cameras are black atm... I get what your saying but the way the quad looks is as important as it flies to me. So I definitely don't like the Easter egg colors lol.
