Original post:
I saw this pic... no info yet, looks like Tmotor is aligning with latest cut buttom desgin like used on many current motors.
Having such good motors like the F40Pro in a lighter package will be great

Also a buttom protection was added, like the Mr. Steele motors:

https://www.banggood.com/4-PCS-T-MOTOR-Motor-Protection-Shield-for-F40F60-PRO-II-Brushless-Motor-for-RC-Drone-FPV-Racing-p-1262971.html

Weight is 5g, seems to be aluminum.

Very curious how you like them... you got the 2600kv right?

I ordered the 1600kv version and of course they are the last ones to arrive. All good, glad they are on the way tho...

idk yet i havent got them installed . was gonna do it last night ,and got called into work early . Today the weather turned here in TN from a nice 70 and sunny to 49 and dropping as the day goes along with a really nice storm and wind blowing like crazy . Gonna be that way rest of week to. My plan is to go with a lighter prop than my usual 5050c to something like a 5051c . I usually buy my motors from 2200kv to 2400kv ,but i like to try new things and a guy i fly with had some 2600kv motors on his i flew the other day and it flew awesome seemed like it had more power on the top end than what i usually run , some of that could have been in his props to though i guess . i forgot to ask what he had on it
