No, not bearcat, beercat. Anybody done a conversion of one to electric. I am just about ready to throw a finish on mine. Gonna glass the skins and paint. Right now itís at 5.6 lbs and I threw retracts on it for fun. But just wondering if anybody else has done one.

What Kit did you build ? I recently acquired an old Top Flite Red Box BearCat . Going with a E-Flight 110 on 8 cells and 3 blade prop.
But I am seriously considering Bashing it into a HellCat.

Balsa Flies Better!
Man, that seems awful heavy for that airplane. I used to fly a Hot Kanary which I think is a similar size at 6 lbs- probably around 1 kW with a 12" prop. Was fun while it lasted (lost an aileron servo). Sounds like you might get closer to 9 lbs ready to rock.
