Ventus 2c scale ship 3 meter 118 inches 54 ounces 46. Carbon Jester 60 inch 26 ounces All are flight ready unless stated otherwise by ((())). And this is what I have unbuilt still new in box. Windrider Fox foam glider LEG P-51 60 inch foam glider DAW Schweizer 1-26 foam glider 2 Dreamflight Ahi foam gliders I have gotten out of all electric power park flyer airplanes. I only fly gliders now. 46 in current fleet. All flyable other than a couple of listed that need repairs or need to maiden. . And 5 new in box. So 51 total RC gliders. Rather than buying new airplanes what I’m trying to do is just make sure everything I do have is ready to fly. In other words (in military terms ) I’m working on my “operational readiness”! Operational Readiness is defined by the Department of Defense (DOD) as “The capability of a unit/formation, ship, weapon system, or equipment to perform the missions or functions for which it is organized or designed.” So right now I have 41 ready to fly out of the 46 in current fleet not counting New In Box I don't know if I should count New In Box because some of those are just backups. So they will not be built unless I destroy the one they back up. take 41 divided by 46 = 89% Operational Readiness or if we consider everything take 41 divided by 51 = 80% My end goal is to be at 100% Operational Readiness. I know that is a elusive number. And even if I get the fleet to 100% it’s unlikely it will stay at 100% for very long. maintenance issues will come up at take a aircraft out of service now and then, or a crash that will need repairs will also take a aircraft out or service until repairs are made But staying in the high 90s should be doable. |
