Again a great effort. This one has got to go on my build list if there will be any plans available. What size blades did you work with in the video?

Power setup:
Servos Corona 238 mg, 40amp esc, motor 3536 1450kv , battery 3s 2200mah, prop 10x 6EE

Blades are 10mm leading edge spruce with 4" 6mm sheet split into 2 giving blade width approx 61mm. 5gms of tip weight. Bolt hole at 513mm from tip with 15deg root angle

Head plate is Graham's suggestion of 0.8mm Whippit size with additional 0.4mm plate giving increased stiffness

Hang angle 16 degrees

Plan now available on download site on Coolwind.co.uk - enjoy

No money taken or made from this ... in case anyone thinks so

Reward is anyone's enjoyment , pics or videos

I was wrong (as usual) about the 238's I found a heap of sellers on ebay "in transit"

Hi Chris, did not take pics along the way for this and the KA1. Build is straight forward we hope from the plan in the ' make it up as you go style !!'.

If anyone gets stuck or is not sure will happy answer any questions and take and post extra pics to help.

Only tricky bit is the 3D printed engine which Tim drew and printed for them both . If not for that I would have made from foam or wood
