New Product

KISS FCv2F7 / New Flyduino 32bit Flightcontroller

The Idea was to get the simple KISS FC to the next level and due to intensive long term tests of some pretty good Pilots we were able to optimize the code to a point where you hopefully get your quad in the air quite quick.

Normally you just need to choose your Airframe in the GUI and you are able to fly (at least with KISS ESC), otherwise you can download presets of well known pilots for given configurations.

And of course you can tweak the PID yourself through the GUI.

Technical data
  • STM32F722RET6 MCU, ARM-Cortex M7 with FPU running at 216Mhz
  • MPU6000 Gyro and ACC Sensor
  • Integrated DCDC converter for direct LiPo battery input (2-6S 6-30V) max 500mA on 5V
  • The first four ESC outputs are amplifyed to 5V Signal with very fast drivers (for a clear Dshot signal)
  • CP2102 USB-UART USB controller for simpler updates with the KISS Bootloader
  • MCU: STM32F722RET6 @216Mhz
  • Weight: 5g
  • Mounting Holes: 3x3cm pattern with 3.3mm holes (compatible with most frame types
  • Voltage: 2-6S (direct)

KISS FCv2 FAQ in our knowledge base

In some cases - especially Mac users - might need to download the drivers for the CP2102 UART/USB

NOTE: If you use a Mr. Steele PDB make sure to connect the correct ports!

you might know that we where the first ones with a AIO (that has four ESC's and a FC onboard) on the market in 2016... so you might see we did the FCv2 like it is because we want it to be like that

Then better hurry up and release the 4in1 ESC quickly before the competition takes over.

So you really want to build a stack with pdb, 4in1 esc and Fc? No way thats freakin outdated oldschool.

So, what’s the advantage over the V1?

What is landing :O
So a total of 5 UARTS ? Rx4 and Tx4 is also usable right ?
Too expensive for me, but time will tell how well it does

F7 FPU, MPU6000 via SPI, DS2400, 6s, CP2102, more UARTs, better layout...

Why did you kept the Rx pins in the front when on the majority of all frames the Rx is usually mounted behind the FC?

Backward compatibility is nice but if you only release new products every few years this would have been the chance to pull a few things straight.

BTW, I'm not trying to bash here, I'm just trying to understand some decisions Flyduino has made with their new FC.

Also, like I wrote in the KISS FC v1 thread, I'm usually not the one to complain about prices but 185,- Euro for a full KISS setup is just insane. And most of us need more than only one setup.
