Power for battery charger from 36v??

Hi all,

Just wondering if I can extract a useable 12v DC to power my Supernova flight battery charger from the existing 36v DC battery pack on my electric bike. It would be nice not to have to lug a 12v battery along with assorted electric planes and flight batteries... Is there a cheapish gizmo that would do this efficiently, or any plans available to make something? Any advice appreciated.

Look for a DC/DC converter. I've seen several on the surplus market that take 36-48v and output 12V

Many charger use a voltage multiplier circuit to increase the 12 V to 24,36 or 48 volts to charge high cell count(voltage) packs since the charge voltage must be greater than the pack being charged. Now if someone would point out which charger has a 36 volt point which could be taped into .
