1/96 LCT mk5

I am in the process of building a 1/96 scale LCT mk5 to fit on top of my LST807 . The LCT will be 4inch x14.6inch ( just in the micro size limit).
My plans is to build a wood buck then vackuform the hulls.(Hull#1)I need to keep the weight down to a minimum to ride on top of the LST 807. (Hull#2)I thought it would be fun to R/C another one. The drive on the LCT had 3 props. In 1/96 the props are less than .5inch(i need to figure out the size). Has anyone attempted to do PE. then soldered to a shaft?
Thinking about drives..maybe 3 hacked servos with fixed rudders using the outboard drives as "tank steering" and the center for pushing

Installed the peg board on the vack box..before heating the plastic I gave this thing a " dry run" using a trash bag. A good thing I did, I heard a crack from under it now to get the top off and place some reinforcement inside

Got 2 pulls yesterday . the first was to cold ,only 2 inch drop during heating
The second was too hot had 8+ inch drop and when moving the plastic over the parts I saw the wrinkle by then it was to late
I took the second pull then cut it out ( it won't go to waist) and will be used to figure out other build components needed. Weight just hull 25g

Big Boats Rule!

If you can easily get some brass photo etch, sure, it's possible. You will need to bend each blade for pitch. In that small size perfection is not critical.
Or you can check Shapeways for a 3D printed prop. I saw several that might be candidates, in the 1/2"-ish size.
Or you can scavenge some props from those cheap fish tank boats.

Attempted 2 pulls today, the first was a total disaster. It's a good thing I put tinfoil on the bottom rack.. the second was almost perfect one small wrinkle in the bow and one on the aft corner both are repairable. And I need to repair the buck before attempting to do another pull
