Very nice, Vašku.

I am afraid I have been neglecting my MiG.

We opened the F5J-100" season yesterday, and I also started my next project for 2x QX30 fans (just a teaser below ).

Maidened the Mig today (although not painted yet). She is a stable flyer, normally 1/2 throttle is more than enough, at full goes vertical and almost too fast for my liking .

Only trouble was the very first start when due to combination of high thrust and large fuse diameter (difficult to grip) I "launched" the Mig as a rocket quite vertically . It took a while before I got aerodynamic control while she was climbing and rotating to inverted. I am glad that my wife took the picture at the right moment . The second start was at about 50% throttle and no problem at all.

I am happy as only a scratch builder can be

Unfortunately my one is still on the desk and waiting to final setup of servos drawbar etc. Now is priority to do Bearcat, but I have not so much time for that. I hope that during May shall be a maiden flights of boths..
Many good take-off with new Mig on Czech heaven. Vašek

Seen your Bearcat on your pages - a nice plane, I used to have one for CO2 power and free flight.

Back to Migs - I found a nice info on camouflages in plastic kits domain - see https://www.eduard.com/out/media/2113.pdf, #3934 is my choice for the moment :-) .

Great choice, check this link https://www.skybird-ev.de/tour/cz/ch...otusice-d.html
I gues first foto is correct, it seems to me like his last stage as monument in Choustice.

Thanks for the link, Václav. It is very sad to see a plane derelict like this but perhaps there is still a chance that someone will save it from the scrapyard.
