Have you been in touch with the manufacturers of the full scale Flynano? They might be so impressed they send you one over
I did actually send them an email Adam .. asking if they would send my ANY details, plans etc but never heard back from them

I'd put CG a few millimeters forward of the step and a couple degrees up for thrust line.
You'll have lots of prop wash over the rear wing, so trimming the elevons there will be a way to adjust for a good compromise. This exactly why many pylon mounted motor designs have a t-tail - the nose down moment of thrust is balanced with the propwash over the elevator (which provides a nose up moment).

I have layed out Lockey's Flynano design on MPF, which is available in the USA.
Tony will have his plans available on his site shortly.

But, for now, I have done 1 single test cutting of the current design.
It consumes 3 and 1/2 sheets of MPF and 1/3 of a sheet or 1/8 ply 12x 18"

Since a 2mm router bit cannot reach all the way down to a Point
without removing too much material I have placed a single 2mm hole at the Vertex
for the builder to simply continue the cut with a sharp Knife.
These Holes have also been placed for reference on cutting out the Elevons
and for Bending alignments.

Cheers Duke

Bob, I am using 1.2mm cutters from Bangood .. only about $10 for 10 and they work great .. it still wont go right down to the point .. just sayin although I find that the 1.2mm cutters give nice sharp corners .. I even used these for cutting 5mm corflute .. slower speed and 2 passes

I have also added a couple of formers to hold the hatch to shape (added to plans) also have marked on the plans where the hatch is to be cut

I've had issues with those on occasion.
Sometimes they "Build Up" a wad of plastic and ruin everything afterwards.
Never with 2mm and That's better than the 1/8 or 3mm that I used to use.
1.5mm is close to the 1/16" bits that I also had issues with ever so often.

Do I have those formers ? like in your mods ?

I have plenty of room to add additional small formers .

Bob

PS mail has gone to heck again with blowbacks !
Gawd I thought I'd found a remedy
