Flynano

Hi again guys ... I have searched and don't think this one has ever been done as a RC model .. so here goes nothing

Drawings are done and G codes are ready to be cut out on my CNC machine ..

Wing span .. 1200mm and length 930mm and am hoping she will fly from grass or water .. front wing is airfoil and rear wing is just flat .. this is the motor I was thinking of using https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-...ner-motor.html

Here is the real one .. http://flynano.com

And a pilot!

Lockey,
You are going to need one of these (scanned and downloaded from a RCME plan a while back).
Cheers,
Pete

Hi petem and thanks for the pilot .. I was thinking maybe I could find a toy from somewhere at about the right scale .. maybe a action man or something similar ??

Hey Bob .. are you going to give the build a go ??

I want to try some 3dPrinting experiments with this design.

Like those tips with integrated tip floats.

Please check your PM as I seem to have lost your e-mail.

I do want to build one but I am thinking that we'll need a higher upthrust angle
than I am seeing on the real one.
Plus the video seemed to show some forced off the water jerkyness.
You can see that characteristic was edited around IMHO.
Once off it was fine.
