Oh that's the HSD undercarriage for sure, with JP braked wheels, but no worries, that awesome gear in a beautiful fiberglass fuse is just what the doctor ordered. The foamy HSD F-16 just didn't do it for me. Foam is great for smaller planes though...

Watching this space!

Cool. What do you expect airframe weight to be?

This should be around 6.5 kgs rtf.
That's a personal guestimate though

Thanks. Sounds pretty light.

Do you think it could fly decently on a K-45, or is that just not enough? I'm a beginner in turbines, hoping to get my waiver in the spring, so I don't need a rocket at this stage.

I think it would be risky. Imagine a go around

Hey Pavlis,

Do you have any other pics to post so we can see the overall airframe shape and design?

Yes but they are all preproduction. These three are the last more kindnof clear ones. The airframe is full of rivets so there is plenty attention to detail. As soon as I have more which should be really soon I will post

I'd imagine the K-70 would be a better choice: same size, more power.

OK, understood. It's just... Have a K-45 NIB sitting on my desk right here. Guess I need to find a lighter airframe for it.
