New Hobbyking 70mm F-16 EDF

Looks like a neat jet after HK 64mm little brother:
https://hobbyking.com/en_us/h-king-f...___store=en_us

Now cybersale for $29.99 at US warehouse.

Features:
• Ballistic flying performance
• Sport scale replica kit version of the world-renowned Falcon jet fighter
• Lightweight EPO foam construction
• Large elevons or aileron control
• Easily removable landing gear for short grass field handling

Specs:
Wingspan: 670mm (26")
Length: 1035mm
AUW: 850g

Description says 4800kv motor, sounds extreme for 4s 2200mah power supply. Sounds more like for ~3000kv 5-/6-blade 70mm setup.

Looks like bigger than the Phase 3/Hobbypeople EF-16.

Specs for the Phase 3 EF-16: http://www.rchobbyexplosion.com/Phas...SC_p/ph015.htm

This is actually for 4s 70mm EDF, with the exact same dimension as your listed 64mm (3s stock power). Strange enough, at this moment, this kit is only at global warehouse for $26 (shipping is expensive though). Guess someone already snatched from US warehouse? Wishing to see some flight reports.
Same thing happened to their Su-35 pusher, quickly disappeared from US warehouse.

it IS the same plane, they just cannot make up their minds on whether it is a 64mm or a 70mm plane - and there is some reason for this confusion, in the plane itself: the ducting, in particular just before and aft of the fan cavity, is for a 64mm size fan, but the cavity where you put the fan is HUGE and will accommodate a 70mm fan, in fact more easily than a 64mm unit because you don't need so much material to fill the void. Just read the other thread, you'll find some flight report and videos, both 70mm and 64mm fans have been tried, model is ok but not great like the Phase 3 F-16, e.g.
