What servo for ailerons on Ultra Stick .40?

I think my servos are going out on my .40 ultra stick on the ailerons. What are some decent (budget) servos to put on it? Not looking for top of the line servos here as this is just a stick plane, just want something that has been a good servo that you guys have tried.

These are a nice upgrade to standard servos that I've used on 40-60 size planes,,, and they don't break the bank,, https://www.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXDTB3&P=ML

Hmm, what do you think about this servo. It's what I use in my RC crawlers. Seems like if it's good enough for a crawler it would be good enough in a plane. It has alot more torque than the one you linked, but the speed is the same.

It is a digital servo. Does it matter if I use digital or analog?

For a 40 size try Hitec HS322HD around $17

That's more like it. Especially for this plane. I understand for 3D planes they need high torque servos. But for these small ailerons on this plane I figure wouldn't need much

The Futaba has more torque than the Hitec. 72 vs 51 ounces.
You can find all the specs on them at Servo City.

The Hitec HS-322HD costs $12.59 at Tower vs $22.99 for the Futaba 3010 at Servo City. I see my link is broken now, however.

There is no reason to put 72 oz on a single aileron for a .40 sized plane. He could put an HS-81 in there as well and still have plenty of authority.

Edit: In fact it's $11.49 at SC.

The reason I suggested the 3010 is that the OP said the servos he was using "are going out",, one would assume he is using standard servos and they aren't holding up,, thus maybe an upgrade is in order,,

It's interesting to note this is the servo the manual recommends https://www.horizonhobby.com/product...-servo-jrps821

Life is full of choices

The load draw is way lower on the 322 than even the most economical digital servos. Analog servos still have plenty good applications.
