I need a garage. This open driveway stuff is adequate enough to park one of our three vehicles.

Nice warbird collection! Just a thought, but if you stored them nose-IN - you wouldn't need to use as much PVC sticking out.

Nice shop!
Thanks Vapor Trails! The MXS isn't in that great of shape, it's fallen a few times when the rudder o-ring on the prop broke. Most of the damage on my foamies are from hanger rash.

My wife keeps saying I need thin out the fleet, but I just point out nooks and crannies where I can squeeze in another bird.

Not sure if you're asking about my setup. My tie offs are in front of the nose of each plane on a cleat. I have to use a stepladder to raise and lower the planes.

My wife tells me this hobby is my addiction. After reviewing this thread I am pretty sure we are all victims of a plague!!

Great thread, great ideas.

Pyrobus, not sure if your storage “system” is more, ha.

My system takes little space, looks like heck and is fast and simple.

I lassoo the tail with thick soft rope, and hang on a nail hammered into the floor joist. Hang them like book pages...

What a mess, oh the mess....SAD, REALLY SAD.....

Yup... I hang most of my planes off the tails too.
Some of the really big planes, I hang off the ceiling with ropes at the wing root.
And then I hang lighter, smaller planes under those...

I store some planes temporarily in trash bins until garbage day. That's always a happy feeling to get rid of a POS model.

I like the floor stacking and pool table method. Makes the wifey not know which plane was recently bought.

You need 1000mm clear in front of your electrical panel. You're nicked, bub.

I think it is something like this. I have one and it cuts PVC easily.
