What I think the EV200 will have:

1. Yes. Why should there be another reason for 2 antennas per receiver?
2. Sure, I think more than 32degree
3. Yes, for $399 I would expect that http://www.eachine.com/Eachine-EV200...tml?lang=en-GB
4. I really need that but I do not see any SD card slot on the pictures, so I hope, yes.
5. Maybe external, like EV100

If this was an investigation for marketing what new goggles should have, I tell you what I would like to have:

-DVR with auto record
-FOV 40-45 at 4:3
-4:3 display with 800x600 resolution or higher
-price < $200
-not sure about head tracking: I would use it but I do not know many people that use head tracking.
-LEDs in front are useless for me

I know, large FOV at low price is hard to built because of the optics. Depends on the price. At high price I would expect HD display at large FOV.
For racing, 4:3 is much more practial because you need vertical FOV much more than in aerial view.

The fan slots on top look really cool. Remembers me on https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...and_Resort.jpg

For sure I would like to test one! I have been waiting for a small cheap FPV goggle for years! I built large goggles with 5" screen and fresnel-lens, even before they were on the market. The EV100 has too small FOV for me.

For the people that posted before: I would feel a little kidded

Great idea for an early marketing campaign. Not only will this generate interest but you can figure out what to call the antenna feature. I like it.

Here is what I hope this goggle has:
• Screenless DLP display similar to the Avegant Glyph (about time) with an optical adjustment system that includes IPD and focal length.
• 1280 x 720 display
• 40 degree FOV
• Less than 30ms latency
• Two sets of antenna diversity combined by actual diversity. Possible names: “Dual Antenna-Diversity Diversity (DADD)” or “Quaversity” or “Bi-Antenna Diversity (BAD)”.
• Built in DVR
• HDMI input accepting up to 1080p
• 3D compatible both through HDMI and diversity units
• Dedicated DVR joystick

As well as everything else the EV100 has:
• Composite AV in and out
• Auto channel search
• Racing mode
• Debug mode
• Fan
• Low battery alert
• External power bank and firmware upgrade port
• OSD
• Detachable faceplate with easy to replace foam
• Headphone jack
• Menu joystick

Bonus suggestion:

• Different faceplates for different face shapes.
• External VRx module support would make many happy. If the stock VRx is capable, I don’t care personally.

Eachine EV200D
Screens : Aspherical lens that will focus on 800x600 for 4:3 (or 854x480 for 16:9) screen with 38 degrees FOV. Yes, 4:3 and 16:9 will be switchable.

Receiver : Two slots, one diversity. Two of them will be SMA other two will be RP-SMA.

DVR: There will be DVR, so microSD slot is there too. You will be able to play DVR instantly through goggles (second black dongle, that one on side without arrow buttons, will allow you to go through DVR menu or overall goggles menu). Of course viewing and recording in both PAL/NTSC.

IPD and focal adjustments: Same as EV100 , 58 to 69mm. Of course focal length is adjustable too.

Inputs/Outputs: There will be audio jack for audio, also HDMI IN and USB port for power from powerbanks. There won't be any headtracker.

OSD: Known from EV100, views band, channel, frequency (or which racer), can be turned off.

Fan: Fan included. With on-off switch

Faceplate: That cut in middle allows to fit 3 point straps - from left to right side and through middle of head (like in EV800)

Brightness and contrast : Can be changed by second dongle (near arrows). Second dongle is used as mode changer too.

Battery : Powered by 2S battery that can be charged via USB. 2S 1400mAh.

Super-power hidden option: EV200D will have something changeable. Look at picture of black ones. Do you see that the middle curved part of goggles leaves blacker (more black) strip on that top part. Looks weird, unless... It looks like the middle curved strip of goggles (that whole curve with word "eachine" from left to right) will be just a cover for something under it. Then, having such big, stretched holes for antennas will have sense, cause holes are so big and stretched to gently take off that cover. Also, white plastic under that holes, another thing that suggest that "cover" thing. What's under it? Receiver bay? Additional ports? I bet that's receiver bay.

EDIT: If i'm right, that the whole curved middle thing is just a cover, then call me Mr.Holmes and gib me those beauties.
If not, add this thing to this goggles and hide there changeable receiver bay

Based on the lack of interest in this thread (Only 4 pages in 1 day based on two pictures), I don't think they will move forward on production

What do I think(hope) they'll have?
1 32deg minimum fov
2 dual diversity with 3D?(possibly optional in bay/s)
3 battery on the side....hate that! Put it in the middle please! It can't be that hard to design a decent battery holder (I was thinking just a neoprene sock would work very well!)
4 built in dvr(I hope)
5 reasonable price point please. I'd be very happy with modular design including single diversity and dvr for the $200ish price point. Second diversity setups could be added later for those who wanted it.

Suggested improvements
1 Put the battery in a neoprene sock at the middle in the back! (now just going to have to build one.....I think I know how)
2 Individual switches to power on and for the defogging fan.
3 2-3 different foam thicknesses of foam (suit more faces)

I got the EV100's and coming from the box stile goggles (VRD2's, then Pro's, then Goggles two) and found them to be good goggles for the price ($100). I would like it if they had done a little more testing in the areas we all know (cap, fw) and hope the new 200's get a little better. I'd love to try them!

The activity of surmising the features end.

The suggestion activity keeps on and once Eachine catches them, we will send you a free sample
