# Good Motor for over 120+ MPH

What a good motor that I can use for my Wing Warrior E-Slayer 48" wing that will push it over 120 MPH and have unlimited vertical. Something that can handle 6S lipo and a 5x5 prop.

The 6 P principle works for me

Well........looking at it from a numbers (rpm) point of view........

If at full throttle on the ground you have a (prop) pitch speed of 125 mph, 125 / .000947 (a constant) = 131,995.
131,995 / 5 (pitch of the prop) = 26,399 rpm
assuming you are running at about 70% efficiency (static, on the ground at full power on 6S lipo) the kv of the motor should be about 1700
if the loaded voltage at full power is 22.2V (3.7 volts per cell at full load) 26,399 / 70% = 37,712 and 37,712 / 22.2V = 1699 KV.

So, I think you are looking for a motor with a KV of about 1700 THAT CAN HANDLE THAT MUCH POWER.
I think you are looking at well over 1,000 watts.

Just a start of course. Hope it helps!

Nov 11, 2017, 10:09 AM Ft Lauderdale https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-...___store=en_us Probably heavier motor than you want, but I use this motor with 100 Amp ESC, on 6s, for 142mph bursts with Grim Reaper, pusher motor. I got the idea from this: http://rcfoamfighters.com/Models/FF-...-SuperNova.htm Probably still the 'cheapest' way to go way past 100 mph. I didn't reverse shaft, just made custom motor mount.
