FAA Part 107 CNN Waiver Granted To Unfinished Snap Drone

The wider non-technical press and media has absorbed the glossy marketing image and PR story for Snap but they have failed to investigate further. Snap is far from being a finished drone, the majority of customers that have paid for and loyally supported the start-up company are still waiting for delivery, 18 months late.

What "bone head" at the FAA would grant a waiver to fly over people ?

You remember this event:

Falling drone nearly hits professional skier during race event (0 min 23 sec)

Just think if it was over a crowd of people.
