Steve, I'll pass the kudos on to Drew for the video work. Fuzz--i definitely did consider whipping up some floats for this bird. Early on, I planned to add hardpoints to this proto so that she could be a floatplane proto, too. But that went by the wayside somewhere along the way. Lol—I never claimed that the model would be done. I just said I would be done.
Heya, Jim—one thing I didn’t mention was that the front slider details were more to keep the canopy from getting knocked off than for scale fidelity. The canopy corners hang out so far I figured something bad would happen eventually, and if that meant a canopy failure in flight I’d probably never find it again. Paul |
