Fuzz--i definitely did consider whipping up some floats for this bird. Early on, I planned to add hardpoints to this proto so that she could be a floatplane proto, too. But that went by the wayside somewhere along the way.

As is often the case, you say you are done and then you remember a couple of things left undone and you realize a few other things bug you. So, some more details were added to the TBD.

This time I think I'm really done making stuff. I still need to shoot some matte over the insignia and add exhaust stains. Then she's as done as she'll get. But I'm really looking forward to enjoying her in the air. Such a sweet flyer

Lol—I never claimed that the model would be done. I just said I would be done.

Heya, Jim—one thing I didn’t mention was that the front slider details were more to keep the canopy from getting knocked off than for scale fidelity. The canopy corners hang out so far I figured something bad would happen eventually, and if that meant a canopy failure in flight I’d probably never find it again.
