save the shipping label as it should show the weight compared to the original weight when shipped .the difference should help you win.

I uploaded pics and screen shots of the shipping manifests to paypal. The weights are not even close.

You should have no issue with PP deciding in your favor. It's a shame people do things like this, I've never understood it.

I've filed a complaint with ic3.gov (internet crime) and my local police department. Paypal asked that I provide these documents to proceed. I was happy to oblige. I have to get the police report printed tomorrow at the hq, so I can scan it back in and upload.

After all of this, paypal came through for me. They ruled in my favor on the appeal and deposited the funds back into my account.

I received a call from my local pd detective. He was going to attempt to contact the individual. The detective asked me to file a complaint with the FL local authorities as well.

The orange county sheriff department took down the complaint against MV. The corporal refused to take action at the delivery address, apparently these sorts of activities or not illegal in Florida.

Was the 'item' returned USPS? Might want to discuss it with PO, if so, as this sounds pretty close to mail fraud. Which the PO doesn't take to kindly, even if it is cool with OCSD.
