Turnigy 9X 9Ch Transmitter w/ AFHDS 2A System

Just saw this on HobbyKing today. It looks like that they are bringing the old 9x back to life. With the AFHDS 2A system, the radio becomes more reliable and there are a wide range of receivers to choose from. It's still very inexpensive, like $60 for the radio plus a iA8 eight-channel receiver. Not sure if it can be flashed to OpenTX like its predecessor. If so, it would be another nice budget radio for beginners!

Saw that !
Wonder why ?
I do like my 9x , But I dont know about changing the firmware ?
This should be interesting , but I just wonder as there are already a few radios available from Turnigy .
Are they trying to flood the market ? ( Makes sense )

The new Turnigy 9X transmitter is very cheap and corresponds to the old transmitter, only the transmission protocol is now AHFDSA2. Unfortunately, I could only save one model permanently, a second I could bind, but then the first did not work anymore! After playing er9x, last version 821, I can not bind a receiver AHFDSA2 until now. I hope Mike has a remedy.

Siegi, could you try this on er9x?
I just tested this I bought one of the new radios myself, and it does indeed work. I flashed the standard "er9x.hex" to the radio, and I had to change the protocol polarity to negative, and then everything is working!
Edit: Oh, just figured out that you're probably phil on that forum.

with er9x I could bind the original receiver with "negative". the tgy flysky i6A and B receivers are causing problems. what I'm surprised the send module flysky fs-RM003 is offered for months but is not available, why ?? With a multimodul the transmitter works perfectly.
Phil is Siegi
