Fabulous! Thanks Joe and thanks Gil for sharing.

Here is a link that is in the video and some terms that may help for folks new to weather.

Terms:
Anabatic: Upslope winds

Katabatic: Downslope winds

Lapse Rate: The rate of temperature decrease/increase with a change of altitude

Inversion: Normal lapse rate with an increase of altitude is lower temperature. An inversion is an increase of temperature with altitude

Thanks Gil for doing the work to get this online! I hope that they will be of benefit to other people.

I'm pretty sure that I will not watch these myself. For some reason watching myself blather is more than a little bit cringeworthy to me. I used to have a HUGE phobia of public speaking (to the point of getting physically ill if I had to talk in front of more than a few people at once). That is now gone fortunately. I suspect that my extreme dislike of watching/hearing myself on any recording is the last remaining bit of my old phobia.

No worries, Joe. The rest of us will do sufficient watching of your blathering to make up for your lack of interest.

Many thanks to Joe for sharing his knowledge and Gil for his efforts in making this available to the rest of us.
