Dragonfly

Hi Guys, I was looking at some decorative dragonflies the wife has around our garden (lots of-em )...... Got me thinking this would be a cool Rc frame to stuff around with.... My wife thought it was a good idea.. so here we go!!
I'll be starting off with a prototype ( simple box fuselage) till I get the CG and wing placement correct. Then I'll work on a prettier design.

Here is my dragonfly that I called Canadian Bug. I built several versions of the Bug. On the cover of the RCM my two daughters Marilyn and Beatrice are holding two versions. I am still flying the one that my daughter Beatrice standing behind Marilyn is holding.

Here's a photo of my second Model Builder Dragonfly. Design by Tex Newman I believe. A scaled up Peck R.O.G. An absolute pussy cat. The first one had an O.S. 15 for power. The one in the attic has a motor up front.

Thanks for your input and interest guys, unfortunately I've been called into work again today. So the build slows down a little.
All I've got to do is put on some verticals, hinge the control surfaces and install the servos.

Yes Lockey I'm intrigued as well.....
