Duane, that's a possibility, but a little early for me to commit! A couple of years ago they hosted a F-1 nostalgia reunion at the Nats. Maybe we need to drum up a 15 QM get together?

They do take up less room in the car than F1s ... maybe I'll throw in 2 of those this time.

My planes always seem to take up a lot less room in the car on the way home........

Always loved the 'looks' of those X40's .. Serious purposeful machinery.
I'd love to have one, simply to have and display on my shelf.
Albeit I have No actual use for one beyond admiration.
No I'm not a collector Nor some reseller...just have a soft spot for clever leading design/ mfg.
That said I can't pay large unfortunately.. certainly for a nostalgia /display piece, but a reasonable # is certainly doable.
Any indications as to $ you might need to part with one?

Bare,These are race prepped engines by Prather, or Shadel, so they are not box stock original. Generally they are worth $100.00 more or less, depending who might be bidding. I'll let you have one of the ones that has been run (raced) for $100.00 plus shipping. This is the same deal I offered to above mentioned gentleman.
