Halogen to LED conversion
Hi guys
I have an old 500W halogen work light I was thinking of converting to LED. I saw these, which look like an easy fix, but the reviews seem to be quite poor on it. Low light levels, and burn out easily? https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/aw/d/B00...A3E03ZEKCCBI37 https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00IOL3OEG#Ask Why not use something like this, and equipment with a dimmer switch or something? https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00D1...Q9L&ref=plSrch I still have some silver heat sink paste from an old computer project, a HS as well. I also have a variety of different old wall unit power converters from various appliances. Never built one of these, but it looks like it must be fairly straightforward if it would work? |
