A big box of Tweeties was waiting for me when I got home last night! Absolutely awesome in person. Now to decide which one to build first!

Oh wow this will be exciting!

Reflex got its first taste of Weldon today. After a brief trim flight last week in very light wind, it went 167 today. That's at 12 oz AUW! Wind peaked at 32 but was mostly 20-25 all day. Very, very well mannered plane.

This is excellent news Dominic. 167 mph is a good speed for its low AUW.

BTW Bruce flew it yesterday as well and had praise for it. There is video of his flight to 156 or so, which I'll post one I get back on wifi. The wind was on and off yesterday and he didn't get the gusts I did.

The little thing goes so fast that visibility is really key! I thought the single stripe would work well but I don't have a ton of Tweety experience, so we'll see if this works any better. I sure like the looks of it.

Bruce came up with the idea that all white with no stripes is the best for tweety visibility. It seems to work well having seen it first hand. Stripes break up the visibility too much on the tiny wings.

Got some time on the Reflex today at Weldon. Man, this is a really nice flying plane! After fine tuning my rates and adding some down trim, it was really eating up some pretty big circuits. No radar.

I will say that the black stripe I added is totally invisible in the air. Live and learn.

It lands beautifully as well and I still haven't even thought of messing with Jonathan's recommended CG. It feels really good!
