Maxima 9 CH Receiver


I have a need for a 9 CH receiver without Telemetry . My Tx is a Evo 9 converted to 2.5 ghz with a Hitec Spectra module.

Can I use the Maxima 9 ch receiver driving a mixture is analog and digital servos instead of the Optima 9 ?

Hi Sportflyer,

I'm certain that the Spectra module will not bind/drive the Maxima receivers.

The Spectra is perfect for Optima and Minima receivers. The Optima 9 will do super.

It's my understanding that if you want to use the Maxima 9, you'll need to drive it with the Aurora 9X and use low-deadband digital servos.

- subject to correction by Hitec, of course.

I have been using Optima and Frsky Hitec Minima compatible RX. They work great.

After reading the Maxima RX info in more detail , you are right that the Maxima will only work with Aurora9X and digital servos.

Awaiting Hitec inputs to confirm.

This information is correct, the Maxima line of receivers will only work with Hitec transmitters that use an integrated 2.4Ghz module (Aurora 9X, Flash 7, Flash 8).
