Here is the video for the electric setup.

Hangar 9 Valiant 10cc ARF (13 min 4 sec)

One sweet flying plane. I can't wait. He is using a 5 cell battery. I have lots of those.

Which isn't really bad at all considering the foamy 5-channel CZ planes aren't that much bigger and are $400 without the battery.

Plus the ability to choose your own components is priceless in and of itself.

Floats I hope. I have a pretty good stash of 5s batteries. If this has a floats option it's a go for me. Need a good all arounder that can go to the lake too.

IIRC one of the first comments about the foamie was 'give us a balsa one'

This is great. The big one is a legend, the foamie is a real gem and now there's an in between one.

I priced it out with an EFlite Power 46 670kv, a 60-amp Plush ESC and 6 HS-425BBs, an AR-610 and didn't even get close to $500.

I did a slight modification on my 30cc with the flaps that I would be doing on this model. I stripped the covering off the flaps and beveled the edges. I then recovered and hinged with CA hinges. This gave me the ability to run a few mixes, have full length ailerons, flaps, spoilers, ect.

I haven't flown my 30cc yet but I really like this model. I may pick up the 1.3m later this week, as I've got about 10 3s 2250mAh packs with no plane to be in...

Really I meant using HH products?

Valiant 10cc $250
Power 46 $90
Caslte 75amp lite $80
Hs-425BB x6 $78
AR636A $80

$508

Probably should use a servo like the HS-5625MG for the ailerons at $40 each

Why would you use an AR636? This plane's not going to need AS3X...

Valiant 10cc $250
Power 46 $90
Turnigy Plush 60-amp $33
Hs-425bb x6 $78
AR610 $40

$491

And that's before you apply any promo codes or discounts.

I priced the servos from Tower Hobbies. Tower almost always has a promo going where you get $5-$10 off for orders over $50.00.
