Jumper T8SG Multi-Protocol 2.4G 10CH Compact Transmitter with 4 in 1 module

I just find this Transmitter from Jumper:T8SG
It's really like Futaba appearance

The Jumper T8SG Multi-Protocol radio features a compact size and a host of protocol options all built in to one product. The CC2500, NRF24L01, A7105 and CYRF6936 RF Chip modules are all integrated with the main RF Module. The T8SG also features sound and vibration alerts, back lit LCD display, smooth gimbals and assignable switches.

The T8SG is a truly portable solution for all your models without compromising on that real radio feel and functionality. Control all your favorite RC items from one radio and have more space for models!

Wow! Compact 10CH 4-in-1 radio. All the Deviation features in a smaller foam factor. Perfect!

Access to the USB plug is lousy thought tru, one has to remove the back cover to get to it.

Running same Devo 7E Ultimate deviation firmware.

Trainer / Simulator / PPM output port and a 2dBi removable antenna.

Around the same size as Devo 7E.

Run on 2S lipo.

Why is the USB port hidden inside the case?

MCU close up. STM32F103RCT6 / 256KB MCU

Major flaw:
1. USB Port is hidden inside the case
2. Poor gimbal/rocker design that has no bearings

Hehe, nice little radio but why did they have to copy Futaba-style model name and appearance? That seems downright silly to me.

I would recommend getting the Walkera version instead.

The Devo 7E has no multi-module, a MCU that needs upgrading because of limited memory, limited range, as it is only sending with 10mw (it can be modified for more mw, but the mod is only for strong nerves and very steady hands), and has a crappy antenna.

Devo 7E can be modded with 4-in-1 module but you will need to solder one wires to the MCU pin which is a delicate process. Again you need to do another ultra delicate process of MCU upgrade to get to where this new Jumper TX already at.

This is a great compact all in one TX despite the Futaba style TX appearance and model name. I would say, total newbie friendly TX that no serious modding required as compare to what you need to mod with a Devo 7E.

Brilliant! I couldn't help it and pre-ordered mine a few days ago.

ltwvince: Thank you for all the pictures!!! I saw that the measurements match the Devo 7e almost exactly. Seeing the two side-by-side has me even more excited.

Gimbals with no bearings?!? WTH?!?! Hopefully we will find a way to upgrade the gimbals.

I can live with the hidden USB port. I'll probably just find an extension cable or cut a big hole in the back of the TX.

PS: Obviously we'll have to add some 3-position switches as well. Looks like all the stock switches are 2-position, like on the Devo 7e.

What would be nice is if the gimbals were interchangeable with the 7E's. I upgraded my 7E quite a while ago with just the NRF module (before 4-in-1s or even 3-in-1s were even a thing), and I wouldn't mind cannibalising it for parts at all. Hardly ever use it beside my 4-in-1 Devo 10, but that compact size cannot be underappreciated.

I'm just reposting pictures from dc59 post.

I hope they do come out with some gimbals for upgrade. Even Walkera doesn't have gimbal replacement that I'm aware of.

Hidden USB port is not a big issue since is quite easy to mod with some extension cable.

You're right about the switches, they all do looks like 2-position switches.
