So I just read the whole tread because I am considering to buy a typhoon 32 v2.3 for my new 6S build.
I am just wondering, does the v2.3 have still the issue with the motors stopping after a few seconds? I already have a tekko32 and it works great. But I saw a YouTube video about an typhoon32 user which had the problem I mentioned 4 month ago and he fixed it by sticking copper foil on the mosfets. My tekko32 already has it on. If that’s the fix, ok. But I still want to know, if the issue exists, so I can preorder some copper foil

Quite unfortunate issue having all motors stop running after a couple of seconds. Is it a bug relate to the hardware or the firmware on the FC? Maybe the answer is in the video though... |

I recived my Version from HobbyRC.co.uk.
There is a sticker with Version 2.2 on it, it has copper foil and some plastic spacers in the box. What is new on V2.3? Cant find any informations on the Airbot website, there is just a Version 2.1... Someone has a changelog from, 2.1 -> 2.2 -> 2.3 ?? Thanks |

thinking of getting the Typhoon32 v1.1
Hi,
I'm actually using all blheli_s single escs on my builds, but I wanna try some 4in1 esc (possibly blheli_32) to have a cleaner and lighter build. I really desire the typhoon32 v2 (or the tekko32) because I saw great review on it (expecially really low noise, etc.), but I'm a bit scared because it costs a lot (more than 50€) and in case one esc fails I obviusly will have to replace the whole board. Then yesterday I saw on banggood is still avaiable the typhoon32 v1.1 and it costs around half the price of the v2! What do you think about? Does it works well? Or does it has problems that worth invest the double of money in the v2? I read the whole forum and I discovered the v1 had problems, but if I well understood, they have been corrected in the v1.1 I know I will have to solder the wire under the esc to have the telemetry, but that's not a big issue, and I also saw, it's rated only 3-4s, but in theory it can take up to 6s (but I will use it only in 4s for now). I also know it has a bit less filtering (less caps) but I will use anyway a 470uF low esr capacitor. Does it has other problems? Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you, Devis Palmi |
