you're not about to say "New Jersey", are you?

Has the Galveston trial of the fellow who shot his girlfriend seen any national or international exposure? When arrested and asked why, he said that "he thought she was about to say New Jersey". Family members confirmed that he often was enraged by certain words, including Mars, Wisconsin and Snickers.
This is why reality is better than Hollywood.

That's what I mean... he thought she was ABOUT to say...
"Niagara Falls". She never got past "Hackensack..." before he plugged her.
One weird side note, he was convicted, which means either his attorney didn't argue insanity, or did but couldn't convince the jury.

Reminds me of another whacky legal story I heard on the radio. A guy got seriously hurt when he was drunk behind the wheel and smashed into a tree. Now he's suing the car manufacturer!

Almost as good as the woman who fell in a department store because she tripped over a kid. She won $140000 I believe. Oh yeah--it was her kid.
